Another important appointment for SICIS, another important capital to be counted among the cities that are home to its showrooms and shop in shop. This time the city is Istanbul, where a new showcase of this Italian maison of luxury artistic mosaics has already opened its doors. Mosaics that come to life in every form, even becoming furnishing accessories, combining art with the age-old technique of mosaic.
An exhibition space stretching over 200 square metres where the most significant collections are displays, splendid interpreters of an exotic expression brimming with vibrations, lights, sounds, and colours. A sampling of the multifaceted production of SICIS in a city that delves its roots deeply into history: from the Byzantine Empire to the Roman Empire, and even to the Ottoman Empire. Today Istanbul is a bridge between Asia and Europe, a melting pot of culture and traditions, hosting SICIS as a spokesperson of the ancient artistic tradition of mosaics in the prestigious district of Kadikoy on the Asian bank.
Even before stepping into the shop, visitors are enthralled by the background of Paltinum Wave, which serves as a set to Milleunaluna of SICIS Next Art, and then once again captivated by the beauty of the Maxima bath in gold set against a background of Pixall Curly Gold. Inside, there are studies in style through combinations of domestic scenarios and precious mosaic decorations: from Flower Power to Colibrì, from Orientale to Stripes, and even Tenderly of SICIS Next Art and Bathtub, all to be admired amidst decoration, tradition, and design in a burst of reflections of light and colour. The marvellous triangular contrasts of Cosmati in black will beckon you to enter, a floor worthy of the historic culture of this place, interpreted with a modern edge while maintaining the craftsmanship and quality of precious materials.
SICIS & Kent Yapi 1985 invite you to discover this and many more in the new shop in shop in Istanbul signed SICIS.
